Overview
3 Capital is a Sydney-based private debt firm providing flexible commercial real estate lending solutions across Australia. They operate at the intersection of property finance and investment management, connecting experienced borrowers with private investors seeking attractive, mortgage-secured returns.
When 3 Capital approached us, they were preparing to launch and needed a website that could hold its own in a market defined by trust, credibility, and precision. There was no existing digital presence to work from. Everything needed to be built from the ground up: strategy, structure, design, and development.
We delivered a full Webflow design and development engagement, producing a polished, CMS-driven marketing website that gave 3 Capital a professional platform to launch their business and communicate their offering with confidence.
The Challenge
3 Capital was launching into a competitive and trust-sensitive market. Private debt and commercial real estate finance aren't industries where a generic template or rushed website will do the job. Investors and borrowers both need to feel confident in who they're dealing with before they engage, and that confidence starts the moment they land on your website.
Without an existing site, there was no foundation to build on. The team needed a complete digital presence designed to communicate their credibility, showcase their transactions, and speak clearly to two distinct audiences: investors seeking returns and borrowers seeking funding.
The challenge wasn't just to build something that looked polished. It was to build something that felt like 3 Capital: measured, professional, and grounded in trust, while also giving the internal team the ability to update and maintain it without relying on developers for every change.
Our Approach
Discover: We began with a discovery workshop to get clear on 3 Capital's market, their two distinct audiences, and the role the website needed to play in their go-to-market. Investors and borrowers have different priorities, different questions, and different reasons to trust. We mapped those out before a single design decision was made.
From there, we defined the website's strategic structure: which pages needed to exist, what each one needed to communicate, and how the site's information architecture would guide both audiences toward engagement. Strategy and sitemap were signed off before design began, so production could move fast without second-guessing.
Create: Design followed the strategic direction established in Discover. We developed a visual identity for the website that reflected 3 Capital's positioning: credible, clean, and confident, without veering into the stiff formality that can make financial services sites feel cold or inaccessible.
The build was completed in Webflow, with a CMS-driven transactions section allowing 3 Capital to add, update, and manage their deal pipeline independently. Contact forms were implemented across key pages to support both investor and borrower enquiries. The site was built as a scalable system, not a static brochure.
Enable: Once the site was built and approved, we migrated the project into 3 Capital's own Webflow workspace and transferred full ownership to their team. We walked them through the CMS, explained how to add new transactions, and ensured they could manage the site independently from day one. No ongoing dependency on us required.
What We Built
Webflow Design System: The full website was designed from scratch using a component-based system that gives 3 Capital visual consistency across every page. The design reflects the firm's positioning: precise, trustworthy, and polished, while remaining practical for a team managing the site without a dedicated designer.
Dual-Audience Page Architecture: The site was structured around two distinct audiences: investors and borrowers. Each has their own dedicated section to address what each audience cares most about: returns and security for investors, speed and flexibility for borrowers. The navigation and page hierarchy were designed to guide each visitor toward the right path without confusion.
CMS-Driven Transactions Section: 3 Capital's transaction history is central to their credibility. We built a CMS-driven transactions section that allows the team to add new deals, update existing ones, and manage their portfolio independently. Each transaction entry supports key fields like LVR, term, and interest type, giving prospective clients the detail they need to evaluate 3 Capital's track record.
Results
3 Capital launched with a website that matched the quality of the firm itself. The feedback from the team was clear: they loved it. For a business entering a credibility-driven market without an existing digital presence, that outcome matters. First impressions in private finance carry real weight, and the site gave 3 Capital a platform that could hold its own against established players from day one.
Beyond the launch, the team now owns and manages their site without any dependency on developers. New transactions can be added to the CMS as deals are completed, keeping the site current and their track record visible. The foundation is in place for 3 Capital to grow their digital presence as their business scales.
